Java 4 Everyone is a 66-paged Intro to Java book with gender-neutral images to encourage all students to learn Java and address the gender gap! It includes all topics from the AP Computer Science curriculum and is published on Amazon KDP.
I wrote about topics in Java including data types, strings, conditional statements, loops, classes, objects, methods, inheritance, and polymorphism. For each topic, I included background information as well as examples of its implementation with proper syntax. In advanced chapters, I included information from prior chapters to demonstrate how the different topics of Java are connected. The end of each chapter includes a summary of the topic. I used the visual elements, colors, and fonts of Canva to design the illustrations. I also used the templates and formatting tools on Canva to merge the written and visual content and create the book. I have sold 40+ copies of Java 4 Everyone on Amazon, and I was featured in the local news.
